LIFE GREEN ADAPT partner Isle Utilities attended the IDB Annual Assembly in Panama in March 2023. Dr. Blanca Antizar, European Director of Isle Utilities and Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at UCL, presented the LIFE GREEN ADAPT project.
LIFE GREEN ADAPT attended the DuRSAAM 2023 Symposium on Feb 8-10 in Ghent, Belgium and presented the project. The presentation was titled: “Removal of Ammonium from wastewater with metakaolin geopolymer sorbents”.
LIFE GREEN ADAPT attended the IWA 17th International Conference on Wetland Systems for Water Pollution Control in Lyon, France in November 2022.
On November 8th 2022, the LIFE GREEN ADAPT project was presented by LIMNOS in a workshop with industrial partners as part of Microbiology week in Ljubiana, Slovenia between the 7-11 November 2022. The aim of the event was for industry to present problems and activities in 4 areas; food, materials, environment, and health.
Project partner LIMNOS attended the National Climate Change Adaptation Conference in Ljubiana, Slovenia on October 20th 2022. The project presentation was titled “Solutions to Reduce Pollution” and was part of a session titled “Advanced climate and environmental projects in Slovenia”. 60 people attended.
Project partners AIMEN, Aarhus University and The Universitat Politecnica de Catalyuna (UPC) attended the International World Water Congress, Copenhagen from the 11-15 September 2022.
As global temperatures rise and the world sees more episodes of extreme weather, adaptation to climate change and a more efficient use of natural resources is increasingly necessary.
