In 2023 and 2025, Carlos Arias of Aarhus Universitet (AU) delivered PhD course at Aarhus University aimed at driving forward principles and technical understanding of the value and science behind treatment wetlands for the management of polluted wastewater, particularly in the context of landfill leachate as it relates to LIFE GREEN ADAPT.

The VII Pan-American Conference on Nature-Based Water Treatment using Constructed Wetlands was held in Asuncion, Paraguay, from 16-20 June 2025. The event, organised by FACEN-UNA and HUPANAM, gathered experts from 12 countries to exchange knowledge on sustainable water treatment technologies.

The S341 Final Conference, "Exploring Earth, Empowering Europe," was held on 12 June 2025 at the Museo do Mar de Galicia in Vigo, Spain. The event brought together policymakers, industry and academia, featuring presentations from aligned EU projects including LIFE GREEN ADAPT. LIMNOS presented LIFE GREEN ADAPT and its Floating Treatment Wetlands during an online consultation. LIMNOS hosted an annual event for chemical engineering students where it demonstrated the real-world application of classroom concepts, relating specifically to the liquid stream treatment technologies implemented in LIFE GREEN ADAPT to manage contamination from landfill leachate.

On January 16th, 2025, LIMNOS hosted a student course and outreach event for chemical engineering students at the University of Ljubljana. With a €3 million budget, the project develops innovations to reduce pollution, manage extreme weather impacts, and support the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient economy aligned with EU environmental policies. The LIFE GREEN ADAPT project brochure and noticeboard are now available for download in English, with the brochure also offered in Spanish.
